Lila-Rose Marcuson
"I am an aspiring fashion photographer who has just graduated from the University of the West of England with a BA photography degree. My work focuses on female identity and self expression through the use of fashion which I have always had a keen interest in, especially the creative aspect of this. I am currently working alongside a vintage clothing brand as their fashion photographer, capturing their unique pieces of clothing. I would love to be able to showcase my work and build a career within the fashion industry."

"Theses images are from my most recent series "The Female Age". The Female Age is a series that visually explores female identity from the perspectives of young women. Through intimate portraits, the series captures the essence of being a young woman today, from the pressures of societal expectations to the empowerment found in self expression. I utilise clothing, hair and makeup to transform ones identity and see how each are perceived differently by the viewer."

Robert Matejcek
Originally from North Dakota, Robert Matejcek obtained his BA in Art, Magna Cum Laude, from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri. Robert's work, a combination of traditional and new mixed-media, has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Robert and his wife, Anna, currently reside with their dogs, Willow and Indy, and their guinea pigs, Honeysuckle and Poppy, in La Junta, Colorado.
"As a neurodivergent individual challenged by verbal communication, my process is frequently informed by a desire to advocate for those who struggle to find their voice. At the same time, however, much of my work is often also intentionally vague and relatively obscure. Many of my pieces, therefore, tend to indicate unrest amongst banality; they imply a potential for the occurrence of something unusual and significant. Those specifics, however, are often dependent upon individual interpretation. I am particularly interested in establishing a dialogue between societal norms, mores, and expectations, technological advances, and the more traditional aspects of my artistic practice."

Kylo-Patrick Hart
Kylo-Patrick Hart is an award-winning photographer (Budapest International Foto Awards, European Photography Awards, Global Photography Awards, Golden Shot International Photography Awards, London Photography Awards, Pollux Awards, Tokyo International Foto Awards, etc.) and chair of the Department of Film, Television and Digital Media at Texas Christian University (Fort Worth, Texas, USA).
He received his formal training in digital media arts while a student at the University of Michigan and Wayne State University, with additional instruction provided by offerings of the Maine Media Workshops and Santa Fe Workshops.
His photographs have been exhibited in numerous cities throughout the United States and in several countries abroad.
"Photography has been my passion since early childhood. My motivation is to discover and capture the beauty, even when it is not always readily self-evident, that surrounds us continuously in all areas of our everyday lives. I believe the finest images are those that are serious yet playful, aesthetically appealing yet a bit quirky. As both an artist and an admirer, my favorite photographs tend to be ones whose contents speak loudly for themselves even when it is not immediately clear exactly what they are saying. They seek to inspire their viewers to wrestle with their intriguing contents and, as a result, ponder various aspects of our surrounding world in new and unique ways."

"I am based in London and my photography journey began during lockdown in May 2020. It was a dark time for many, but we had a wonderful spring and summer. As flowers and shrubs came into bloom, I would photograph them on my iPhone, and sent a flower daily to family and friends in order to cheer them up. The photographs were extremely well received, and everyone began looking forward to them to the extent that once lockdown was over there were many complaints as I had stopped sending pictures. I restarted again, this time walking the streets and taking many pictures of flowers in front gardens and along people’s front paths. I then began to edit as artistically as I could. After about 18 months, I bought myself a Fujifilm TX30ii and there was then no holding me back. I have now moved on from flowers, and enjoy portraits, wildlife and street photography."

"I am London based photographer, mature student of photography at Morley College Chelsea. Photographing fashion, mainly behind the scene is fascinating. It is not just the clothes as such that I love photographing but the effect they have on people wearing them. It is the small detail such a wonky toe, oversize shoe, but also vanity, that I like to capture."

"Shoes are true reflection of people's personalities, i.e. there is a “featherily” flat shoe person and the killer boot person. By zooming in with my lens I show the viewer those details and try my best to draw attention to personalities and self expression."

"This series was made for our own brand CDNE. We wanted to convey the spirit of the collection dedicated to Pan-Asian culture of the 20's of the last century and thousands of shimmering lights of New York, London and Paris."
"Swirl in the stormy dance of megacities, there is a quiet harbor shrouded in haze and filled with the color of the setting sun Invites the most curious and sophisticated lovers of the world of fashion to visit."

Brigitte B Burckhardt
Brigitte currently lives in Switzerland. She is a self-taught photographer, started shooting as a child inspired by her grandfather whose name she chose to bear as her artist’s name to honour him.
She shot with a film camera for years be it color or black and white, spent hours developing her films in a dark room. In her twenties she travelled around the globe taking her camera along and thus gained great experience especially in landscape and street life photography.
Being reasonable instead of listening to her passion she studied medicine and is still partly working as a medic. Though after a life changing event she had more time for herself and the passion for photography came back stronger than ever. Still taken mostly by landscape and street life photography but also starting to experiment with other approaches.
"I normally stay away from the City preferring some known or unknown
neighbourhoods. This time though, I decided to give it a go. Walking around the Gherkin, the Lloyd’s building, the Talkie Walkie and the Leadenhall Market. I was stunned. I loved the mixture of new and old. So, I was standing there looking up. Looking up and there he was. So elegant and stylish, Proud and handsome I was seduced and took a photograph. He seemed to look nowhere. He seemed to be somewhere else, floating in the air. His walk so smooth but for sure he was walking in his shoes."

Michael Eckart
Michael Eckart was born in West Germany after the Second World War.
He has spent significant time in Japan, Bali, and other parts of Asia, but Venice now feels like home.
From a young age, he aspired to be a photographer or designer, always drawn to creativity. However, these passions did not take center stage in his career until much later.
In the 1960s, he began designing window displays and creating objects for visual merchandising. During this time, MoMA requested some of his designs for an exhibition on contemporary design in New York.
His work evolved into successful residential and commercial interior projects, for which he also designed and crafted furniture until the mid-1980s.
By the late 1980s, the scale of his creations changed as he transitioned into jewelry design, working with materials such as buffalo horn, bone, and especially sterling silver. From 2004 to 2006, he exhibited his jewelry in Paris, where he was awarded the Étoiles de Mode for Best Design three consecutive times.
His jewelry gained widespread recognition, with features in prestigious publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and others.
In 2016, his son gifted him an old camera, reigniting his passion for photography.
In 2024, he entered his first photography competition and achieved success.
"Stray Cats" are freedom-loving and unconventional. They don't like to be subordinated. This is probably also true for the members of the rockabilly band "Stray Cats". Rockabilly is a variant of rock and roll that was developed in the mid 50'S by young white musicians in the South from the black rhythm and blues of the time. In Japan, especially in Tokyo, there are clubs whose members are dedicated to rockabilly. They live rockabilly and the style of the American 50's, and meet every Sunday at the entrance of Yoyogi-Park to party and dance. They call themselves "The Strangers" or "Fallen Angels", which is probably due to the rejection of these groups by part of Japanese society. Sometime in the summer, a few years ago, I also spent half a day in Yoyogi-Park, where the photos for this series were taken. When I looked at my old photos again, the motifs began to dance before my eyes."

"For me, fashion is a way of expressing myself, and it is highly personal. I think about the people, the things I saw, and the unexpected occurrences in life. Fashion doesn't just exist in the closet; it is in our lifestyles, beliefs, talking and laughing, and the passage of years. It means nothing when it’s just a dress. But when combined with the occasion, the dresser, and the mood, it is alive and has a great sense of story."

"I am José, a 29-year-old Brazilian with a background in economics and a recent passion for analog photography. Currently, I am living as an expat in the Netherlands, and analog photography has become one of my favorite hobbies. In a way, it’s a collection of memories from my time living abroad. I also chose analog photography because it reflects the unpredictability of life, with its mistakes, unexpected lighting, and lessons learned. Through it, I can share how I see this world."

"The photos feature Fortune, an expat living in the Netherlands who passionately advocates for his homeland, Biafra, a partially recognized state in West Africa during the 1970s, now part of Nigeria. Fortune channels his passion for his homeland's independence through daily livestreams, where his vibrant sense of fashion shines as an integral part of his identity. His style not only reflects his personality but also serves as a powerful medium of self-expression."

"Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, I am a photographer now living in St Paul, Minnesota (USA) where I also teach literature and writing at the University of St Thomas. I have had photographs published in Black & White Magazine and in Shots Magazine. And I have participated in exhibits at the Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis (USA), Blank Wall Gallery in Athens (Greece), and The Glasgow Gallery of Photography (Scotland). I've long been inspired by the work of Saul Leiter, along with Bruce Davidson, Garry Winogrand, Chris Killip, Anders Petersen, Larry Fink, and Mary Ellen Mark. As a photographer, mostly of the streets, I hope to capture the very "magic of the street" that Rebecca Solnit, in her book Wanderlust, calls "the mingling of the errand and the epiphany."

"Be beautiful but not seductive. Don’t stand out because you can provoke someone. Don’t be rude, be gentle. Be passive, be low. You have to be thin but not skinny. Be beautiful, but not too much. Dress femininely, because otherwise, no one will love you. Be strong, but fragile at the same time. Never give up, and never make mistakes. You can desire money, but you mustn’t be mercantile, it is repulsive. You can love yourself but not be selfish. Speak your mind, but don’t be rude or hurt anyone. Be a good girl. Build a career, but don’t dive too deep into it, remember, your family should come first. You must act like a girl. What the **? What is wrong with this world? This project is not about me. It’s about women. It’s about the pressure we experience every day but rarely speak about. This project is about freedom of expression. It’s about embracing your true self even if someone else disapproves. What matters is being authentic to yourself. Let every girl who sees these photos ask herself, "who do I want to be?"
