“I have been a passionate photographer for many years. I am interested in languages and cultures, as well as culture and art. I take photos in black & white and colour, but mainly in black & white. The beauty and the interesting things are often hidden in the details or you only discover them at second glance.” “Art gives peace to the soul.”

“A student in Art direction based in Paris who started photography for fun one month ago! I experience photography in my way, to show people what I notice through my lens. To tell the story I want to share is something crucial for me as someone who does this to express what is beauty for himself, I let my creativity speak before I click on the button for the shot of my photo hoping that will touch people as it touches me as an open-minded person and think that’s helped me a lot for creating stories through my photo.”

“I relocated a couple months ago from beautiful Canada to beautiful Colorado. I spend my days exploring the streets of Denver as a way to get acquainted with its architecture and people. There is so much beauty and stories to be told within its city, I get completely lost beyond my lens, for hours upon end. I’m very grateful to be a part of something so wonderful as photography.”
“Photography is like an addiction, you’re always looking for your next fix.”

“I am a street photographer based in London, originally from Bucharest. I find myself frequently traveling between these two cities, drawing inspiration from their diverse urban landscapes. While currently studying neuroscience, I have been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember, initially capturing moments for myself and my family and later sharing them with a growing audience on Instagram. My photography journey has evolved, and I now also work as a photographer for my university, blending my academic pursuits with my creative passion. As a street photographer, I’m captivated by the fleeting moments of urban life, with a special focus on storytelling. My work centres on capturing people as they enjoy life - whether in shared laughter, quiet reflection, or spontaneous joy. Through my lens, I document these everyday narratives, revealing the beauty in the ordinary and the connections that unite us. Each image is a celebration of the vibrant, unscripted moments that define the human experience in the city.”

Hao-Long Hsu
Lecturer/ Department of Spatial Design/ Kun Shan University/ Taiwan.
“I majored in architecture at university, where, through the inspiration of my professors, I explored how architecture can be as dynamic and emotional as art. We have been trying to apply the theory of emotion and art architecture to understand how buildings can inspire people’s hearts, touch their souls, and stimulate imagination. Over the past 30 years, I have travelled to cities around the world to learn about beautiful art and architectural creations. When I encounter scenes that surprise and move me, I often capture and record them through photography. Through this process, I have accumulated a large collection of photographic images. Ten years ago, I began to create new artistic images using my photos and started participating in international photography competitions. These opportunities allowed me to connect with other photographers and discuss emotional works. I have also won several international awards, which have strengthened my belief that artists can touch people’s hearts through images and create beautiful resonances within them. I continue to apply the theory of emotional design to my photographic work, hoping that everyone can see the beautiful poetry of the world through my lens. Emotional art photography imagines an ethereal level of spiritual experience and serves as a language for artistic creation, allowing people to experience the elegant atmosphere of space and landscape. The imaginative interpretation of emotional architecture and the landscape environment presents a poetic spatial atmosphere, conveying the significance of place and the context of art. It shapes the emotional grammar and spirit of a location, creating a spiritual aesthetic and a poetic space. A vivid imagination and creative artistic language can make our cities more emotionally engaging, providing rich artistic experiences and displaying the art of imagination to create a more fulfilling world.”

Through the reflection, she sees herself, creating a quiet moment of connection and self-awareness. Her posture reveals a quiet resilience. Her bowed head may hint at the challenges she faces, but also the hope she carries. This image is a tribute to the strength and determination of young girls, finding their way in a world where they balance tradition with the desire for a brighter future.”

“Started photographing in early teens. Resumed photography in 2020 after a 40+ year pause. Main photography genres are Street, Architecture, Abstract and People.”
“We humans are basically very much alike. Capturing scenes on the street helps understanding the nature of humans, perhaps especially when the image gives rise to more questions than answers. I am not certain why I make images with a camera but it makes me feel good.”

Brigitte B Burckhardt
Brigitte started with photography as a child inspired by her grandfather. As a tribute to him her artist’s name is his. She shot with a film camera for years especially while travelling around the globe.
She came back to photography after a life changing event. She suddenly had time to spare and chose to devote it to landscape and street life photography. So really this is a comeback to her passion.
“For me photography is painting with light and capturing moments of life to tell a story. A story in my eyes. It evolves around the emotions I feel observing the environment be it urban or nature. In an urban environment all my senses are receptive to the movements of the city life ready to capture the moment. Thus my photographs are mostly candid reflecting the street life I am sensitive to. The point is to take the viewer along into my journey.”

Sebastian Șelaru
“My name is Sebastian Șelaru, I started photography with a small mirrorless camera that I had laying around in my house and got into capturing the urban environment and the small but meaningful moments between people. I think there is beauty in man made structures and in the chaos of a city, but the people take part in my images almost always. I really like using black and white because it facilitates telling a story with simplicity, helping the eye to comprehend a more general idea of my work and creating a more profound contrast between the shapes.”
