Conrad Valone
"My name is Conrad Valone. I am a conceptual Fine Art photographer from San Francisco, California. I grew up hard, ran away, and never looked back. It is my belief that the creation of art is the consistent and insistent need for people to express what can never be said. I photograph my nightmares and my daydreams. Sometimes it can be difficult for me to tell the difference between them."

"Taking pictures has always been natural to me. As well as questioning the world. Born to a south-italian working-class family in France and social worker for 15 years, I’ve always needed to archive, to witness, I like creating images, fixing moments of who and what I love, what I believe in and what makes me angry or what I wonder about."

"M. stands for the portuguese slang term “moleza”, which means someone who is sluggish or lacks energy. It is difficult to have moments like these, especially in New York City which is known as the city that never sleeps. This image aims to show a contrast between the bustling energy of New York City and the feeling of being a moleza."

Maryam Shabani
"I discovered my passion for photography when I was a teenager. I love to take photographs of almost everything, and as an introvert, this ever growing fondness for photography has always been the best way to express and perceive myself in every moment I capture. I studied Math major in high school. Therefore, I couldn’t start learning something related to arts easily as a university student. I started studying Urban Planning at the Faculty of Fine Arts, the University of Tehran, in 2016. I wasn’t enjoying that major, and I was looking forward to getting related to arts and, more specifically, photography. Thus, I decided to study Photography for my master’s degree in 2021 in the same faculty and the same university. Since then, I have been trying to find my way as an art photographer. Why art photography? As mentioned, I find photography the best way to express myself and my feelings. Whenever I’m experiencing any kind of feeling, I can analyze it through my photographs, and I think this style of photography is an art form."

Pablo Iriarte Urdiain
"I grew up in Mallorca, Spain, and found creative ways to express myself through photography, music, and writing. It helped me voice things I couldn’t fully understand at the time. Now, I’ve made creativity part of both my life and work as a creative copywriter in Berlin. I believe in honesty, commitment, and dedication in everything I do. I see portrait photography as capturing those in-between moments, the brief second when someone’s guard drops and their true self comes through. I aim to get past the everyday persona and reveal something deeper and more real. This series follows the emotional arc of relationships. It starts with The Spark, the physical connection and passion where everything feels heightened and intense. Then comes The Unveiling, when we let our guard down and show who we really are. It ends with The Echo, where we return to solitude, facing a more distant, maybe less fulfilling reality, connected only through the traces of what once was. These portraits also represent a different time in my life, when I had space to dedicate to my friends and their stories."
